I'm heading to Vero Beach in March. Is there anything I should reserve or plan at the resort in advance of my visit? It will be my wife and two boys with me on the trip (7 and 9). Thanks!

    Hi Robert,

A visit to Disney's Vero Beach Resort sounds wonderful, with a beautiful beach to relax on all day. Your trip is coming up soon; you must be getting excited!

I think that you will find that you can make reservations for most activities at Disney's Vero Beach Resort once you have arrived. There are plenty of activities, but most can be reserved once you arrive or are available for walk-up. One exception to this the dining that involves characters. Goofy's Beachside Character Breakfast is held on Saturday mornings, and Pirate Night is on Monday nights. A cast member at the resort suggested to me that these are popular, so you may want to make reservations for them ahead of time, especially if you think they are something that your boys will enjoy. You can call Disney's Vero Beach Resort directly at 772-234-2000 for assistance with these reservations. There is also a lovely restaurant at Disney's Vero Beach Resort, called Wind & Waves Grill. If you have a specific time in mind that you would like to dine there, you might want to make a reservation.

There is also a spa at Disney's Vero Beach Resort. While many reservations will be available when you arrive, if you know that there is a specific service and time that you or someone is your party would like to book, you can do so before you arrive by calling 772-234-2050. Finally, there are children's activities at Disney's Vero Beach Resort. While you should be able to book these once you arrive, it might be a good idea to check them out before you head to the resort.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Robert! Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
