Welcome to planDisney, Emily.
If you're interested in makin' memories, then a trip to Walt Disney World Resort is the way to go. I'm one of those people who take countless photos when I visit The Most Magical Place on Earth. As the legendary Sherman Brothers sang, "Making memories, making memories, taking pictures is making memories/Catching little pieces of time/Making them yours (and making them mine)."
The
Disney PhotoPass Service is a great way to capture those precious memories. Throughout the theme parks, on select attractions and at iconic locations, there are cameras and photographers waiting and ready to snap your magical moments. You just need to have the Cast Member scan your ticket and, shortly after, your pictures will be ready to view in your gallery—either online or on the My Disney Experience app.
I'm hesitant to mention the cost since pricing is always subject to change. However, photo downloads are generally about $18.95 for a set of two 4 x 6 prints or one 5 x 7 print, or $20.95 for one 8 x 10 print (plus tax).
If you anticipate purchasing multiple photos, then you should consider purchasing the
Memory Maker ahead of your trip. With the Memory Maker, you'll be able to have unlimited downloads of your Disney PhotoPass photos and videos. Not only that, but you can even share your captured moments with up to 25 members on your Family & Friends list. You can purchase Memory Maker - Advance Purchase at least three days in advance of activation and save some pennies. You can also purchase Memory Maker One Day for shorter trips.
I used the Memory Maker on my last trip and it was fantastic! I highly recommend it.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Emily. Have a magical trip. In the words of the Sherman Brothers, "Look at the birdy."
ChEARS,
Mike
