Hi, I'm heading to Disneyworld in January 2019 and our dinner bookings open next week. I have been researching showtimes for when we are there and cannot see any mention of the star wars galactic spectacular@Hollywood studios in Jan. Is it still there?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Emily! Congrats on being so deep into your planning for your upcoming vacation. The key to a smooth trip is being on top of your 180 and 60 days ahead of check-in points, and you’re there! I always mark these dates on my personal calendar so I know when to log on!

You’ll see now that your vacation is drawing closer that those dates are indeed populating in the calendar for Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular. They are filling in about 6 months ahead, as do the dining reservation openings. You’ll have to see previous weeks of show times to guess-timate what showtimes you’ll have. It’s best to look at the week prior and see what times are presented. In the winter, showtimes may be earlier because of the sunset time. Likewise, summer showtimes will be much later. I can tell you that Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam! does take over during the Christmas holiday, and will play through January 6th, 2019. So you won’t find Star Wars fireworks dates until after that time.

I hope you have a magical vacation next year and if I can help you with any more planning tips, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
