I'm heading to Disneyland in January and being a huge SW fan, I'm naturally going to Savi's Workshop... The trouble is getting these things back to the UK. How much does it cost to ship things back to the UK? If not, what is the blade weight?

    Bright suns, Chris!

On a recent visit to Batuu, I accepted a mission from Vi Moradi. I was to find a source of kyber crystals. Fortunately, Dok-Ondar somehow had laid hands on a fresh supply. I didn't ask too many questions as I haggled over the credits he was asking. By that time, I was getting hungry. Kat Saka had given me some provisions, but I needed something more substantial to see this mission through. I headed to Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. Chef "Cookie" Tuggs may not have the fanciest establishment in the galaxy. But his Fried Endorian Tip-yip hits the spot!

After refueling, I pulled out my Datapad to intercept local transmissions. The coast was clear, for now. Though the First Order was advancing. I needed to succeed in my mission, or the Resistance would suffer another serious setback. At least Chewbacca and Hondo Ohnaka were getting results in Hondo's "legitimate business."

After narrowly avoiding a Stormtrooper from the First Order's 709th Legion, I arrived at Savi's Workshop. The Gatherers helped to identify the purest kyber crystal from the lot. With their help, I placed the crystal in a lightsaber I built from some "scrap metal" the Gatherers had obtained. To complete my mission I had to ask the Gatherers for guidance on how to ship my new lightsaber off-planet. Ironically, they advised me to use shipping channels controlled by the First Order! But it was the perfect cover for transporting goods for the Resistance.

I took my lightsaber to First Order Cargo. I was shocked to see a First Order TIE echelon there at Docking Bay 9. That could only mean that Kylo Ren was not far. But I couldn't let that deter me. The staff at First Order Cargo was orderly and efficient. At least I could rely on them to get my new lightsaber safely transported. The First Order requested documentation for the lightsaber. Of course, they would! Fortunately, the Gatherers at Savi's had given me a receipt that I had carefully guarded. Then it came time to negotiate the price. Previous missions didn't require shipping quite as far. But my contact for this mission was based in the United Kingdom. It would cost me a few more credits. But it was worth the expense if it could help the Resistance. Shipping costs through First Order Cargo vary depending on the value of the item being shipped. The amount on the receipt from the Gatherers indicated that this shipment to the United Kingdom would cost me 70 credits (USD 70). (Note that prices and conditions may change without notice.) I handed over my credits and my precious lightsaber. It was now up to my contact in the United Kingdom to complete this mission. May the Force be with him!

And may the Force be with you, Chris, as you live your own Star Wars story at the Black Spire Outpost.

    'Til the Spire!
