Hi there! I'm heading to Disneyland and DCA next week! I have a 4 day, one park per day ticket. I'd like to upgrade one of those days to a park hopper ticket. Is that possible, or do I have to upgrade the whole 4 days to the park hopper?

    Hi there Rebecca!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited that your trip is just around the corner! You picked a wonderful time to visit the Disneyland Resort as the exciting new Pixar Fest is in full-swing. You can see my favorite nighttime parade, Paint the Night, dazzle through Disney California Adventure Park with its energetic music and truly amazing floats and costumes. While in Disneyland Park make sure you grab a spot to view the new fireworks show, Together Forever - A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular. Not only are there amazing pyrotechnics, but projections fill Main Street, U.S.A. and you may even see some surprises in the sky around Sleeping Beauty Castle. This festival also brings some of the cutest treats to the parks featuring your favorite Pixar pals.

I'm really glad you plan on spending four days at the parks as this will give you plenty of time to experience so many of the attractions, entertainment, and dining options at the Disneyland Resort. If you would like to upgrade one day of your ticket, it is actually the same price to just upgrade your entire 4-day ticket which can be done at a ticket booth. I would advise you do this at the start of your trip to get the full benefit of your park-hopping privileges. We absolutely love park-hopping at the Disneyland Resort, because Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are a mere footsteps apart. We often hop back and forth throughout the day to take advantage of short attraction wait times or when we are craving something that can only be found in the other park.
