I'm headed to WDW in Jan 2018 with my wife and three daughters aged 18 and 11(twins). Staying for a week, we'll need some space. My girls are mature at this point, but not totally independent. How likely are we to get connecting rooms in Pop?

    Hi Dan!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question - I'm happy to help!

It sounds like you have a fun vacation on the horizon! What an awesome way to kick off the new year - with a week-long stay at Walt Disney World Resort. I'm sure you and your family are counting down the days already!

While requesting connecting rooms at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel isn't always a guarantee, I can give you some tips to help give you a better chance of making that happen.
    • Make sure to list "connecting rooms" under Special Requests when booking your room, and again when completing your Online Check-In.
    • Arrive at your resort hotel as close to (or earlier than!) your check-in time as you can. Make sure to reiterate to the Cast Member checking you in that you'd prefer connecting rooms.
    • Call Disney's Pop Century Resort ((407) 938-4000) about a week before your vacation and ask to speak to someone who handles special requests or room assignments. Ask them kindly if you can request connecting rooms.
    • Be flexible - remember that special requests are not guaranteed, but know that the Cast Members do everything in their power to ensure Guests have an amazing Disney vacation.
I hope this helps! Please come back and visit with any other questions you think of before your vacation. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
