I'm headed to Disney in a few weeks with some friends. Each of us purchased our tickets separately but I have linked all our accounts together. Will I be able to book Genie+ for all of us or does each person have to individually pay?

    Hi Ella Grace,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for asking us a great question about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

I’ve been doing a lot of runDisney “race-cations” with friends lately, so I have a fair bit of experience wrangling Disney Genie+ Service for a crowd. I’m happy to say that, if all of your friends are part of your “Family & Friends List” in your My Disney Experience account, you should be able to purchase Genie+ for everyone in a single transaction and then make Lightning Lane selections for everyone in your group. You’ll also be able to purchase Individual Lightning Lane access for each member of your group and add up to 6 people at a time to any Virtual Queues that you’d like to join during your visit.

Tip: Everyone needs to make sure that they have a Theme Park Reservation for the right Theme Park every day, or else you won’t be able to include them in your Lightning Lane selections. You’ll also want to set an alarm on your phone for when you’re able to make your next selection – the time will be listed near the top of your Genie+ Tip Board screen (in the big blue banner.)

I hope my answer helps you plan the perfect holiday with your friends! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any more questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
