Hiya Michelle,
Welcome to planDisney and Happy New Year! I’m wishing you so much magic in 2026 and many vacations to the Most Magical Place on Earth, of course!
I’m sorry to hear you are having difficulty
verifying your Florida license through the online verification system. Let’s see if I can help you troubleshoot! A common reason the system doesn’t allow you to verify is an expired license. Is your driver’s license expired or going to expire before your trip dates? If so, the system will not currently allow you to complete the online verification process. Another reason is that the address on your
My Disney Experience profile doesn’t match the one on your license. I have had this occur before, and once I updated my profile, the system stopped glitching. If your license is valid and your account is up to date, but you are still experiencing issues, it may be a truly technical glitch in the system's back end. I’ve also had this happen to me, and I haven’t figured out a good way to remedy it yet. When I spoke to a Cast Member, they told me that if the online system isn’t working, you will need to verify your residency in person at
Guest Services at Disney Springs or at a ticket window at any of the theme parks.
I wish I had a better way, Michelle, but hopefully this is helpful. I know I like using the online system to save time when I enter the parks, but when I’m not able to, I always head to Disney Springs for verification. In my experience, the lines are shorter than they are in the morning at the theme parks, and I also get to do some early shopping at
World of Disney (and grab a bite to eat). If you need anything else, please come back and see us.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
