I'm having trouble understanding what part of AKL is jambo vs kidani when looking on map. The 1BR villa in Kidani offered 2 baths, while the 1BR in Jambo only offered 1. When looking @ map of AKL, which section (room #s?) are Kidani? Heart the Panel!!!

    Hi Mindy,

You will love Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.  The atmosphere is so exotic and beautiful.  My children just adore seeing all the animals grazing around the resort.  Jambo House is the original part of the lodge and has converted rooms to one bedroom villas and studios.  The two bedroom villas at Jambo house are a studio and one bedroom joined together with a door.   Kidani Village is exclusively villas and studios.  The rooms do have two full  bathrooms- one in the master suite and the other just off the living room.  The rooms at Kidani Village are slightly bigger than at Jambo House (by 100 square feet.)  I have stayed at both places, and they are both outstanding.

Kidani Village is a separate bus ride from the Jambo House.  It take less than 5 minutes to go from Jambo House to there.  They are totally separate buildings on the map.  There are actually two maps for the Animal Kingdom Lodge:  Jambo House and Kidani Village.  On the map, the Kidani Village structure reminds me of antlers.

Please send me a follow up question if I can help you further, Mindy.  I know you will just love staying at the Animal Kingdom Villas.
