Im having some trouble understanding the allowed number of park pass reservations for each annual pass. Does this refer to how many separate trips you can have booked at one time? Or is it referring to the number of days you can reserve?

Hi Jessica and welcome to planDisney!

Being a Florida resident has so many perks and discounts on Walt Disney World theme park tickets and Disney Resort hotel stays are just the beginning!  Being a Passholder allows us to visit the magic as often as possible and we love to take advantage of that.

The number of days of theme park reservations you can hold depends on the type of annual pass you have.  The Disney Incredi Pass and the Disney Sorcerer Pass can hold up to 5 individual days at a time.  The Disney Pirate Pass is up to 4 individual days and the Disney Pixie Dust Pass is up to 3 individual days at a time.  These days are rolling, so that means once you have used one, you can make another one up to the maximum days your pass allows.  If you're taking one trip that spans over more than the maximum number of park reservation days you're allowed, you will have to wait to make the extra park reservations until you have used some of the days first.

If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel during any of your trips, you can make park reservations for the number of days you'll be staying and this will not go against the number of days you're allowed with your annual pass.  When you make your park reservations online, you will see two options.  "Book Park Reservation" is to book them using your annual pass allotment.  "Book Park Reservation for Hotel Guest with Annual Pass" is for if you are staying at a Resort hotel.  Make sure you are choosing the right one for a hotel stay, otherwise it will take your days from your annual pass allotment.

My family has the Water Park and Sports Option added to our passes.  This gives us a year of admission to the Disney Water Parks and access to all of the miniature golf courses at Walt Disney World.  Using this part of our passes does not require park reservations, so we can plan a water park day even if we have used our maximum amount of park reservations for our passes.  As a Florida resident, it's nice to pop over on a hot day to cool off.

Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

    Have a magical day!
