Welcome back to planDisney, Tina!
I'm so glad you stopped by as you begin planning another magical vacation! Personally, I love this early stage of planning when possibilities are limitless as you peruse the Walt Disney World website to determine which Disney Resorts Collection hotel to call your magical home away from home.
It sounds like you've decided on the tropical vibes of
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Tina, and although I've never personally enjoyed a stay at this particular Disney Resort hotel, my brief visits to dine at
Sebastian's Bistro with friends have placed it high on my list of must-dos. Between the colorful buildings, grand pool, and access to the
Disney Skyliner, the magic of its immersive island experience is enhanced by the convenience of Disney transportation.
As you have discovered, when using the Walt Disney World website to check for availability at a particular Disney Resort hotel the process requires that Guests search by desired travel dates rather than by those that are currently available. When searching on
Caribbean Beach's 'Room Rates' page, you can enter desired check-in and check-out dates to see availability for different types of reservation categories including Room Only, Vacation Packages, and Special Offers. If you don't see the desired availability initially, you'll need to modify your dates and check again. Happily, I just searched for a few check-in dates during your desired vacation months and was given the option to reserve multiple room types.
If you don't have immediate success with the process outlined above, you also have the option of calling the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line where Cast Members have access to the exact availability for your party size on particular dates and can expedite the reservation process for you.
I hope this information was helpful, Tina, and that you have a reservation confirmation in your inbox soon! If you are in need of additional assistance as you continue to plan, feel free to
stop back by. I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
