Greetings, Leslie, and welcome to planDisney! There are certainly some excellent Character Dining options available during the holiday season – I'm especially excited about Mickey’s Christmas Carol Feast at Storytellers Cafe. The magic will start with a dining reservation – let's set you up for success!
Leslie, dining reservations are not always available right at the 60-day mark. Reservations may become available on different days and/or at varying times for each location. The holiday experiences at Storytellers Cafe, for example, will be
available to book starting October 2, 2025, so you're just a little early in this case. I suggest logging on early in the morning that day to look through your options. And if you don't see anything available, continue to check often!
You have a few experiences to choose from, Leslie:
- Daisy’s Holiday Pajama Party: Head to Storytellers Cafe for breakfast or brunch to savor an all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet with Daisy, Donald, and their pals! They'll be dressed all cozy, and you'll be able to take photos with them as they each visit your table.
- Mickey’s Christmas Carol Feast: This is a new dinner experience at Storytellers Cafe featuring Mickey Mouse, Scrooge McDuck, and other friends. It looks like Goofy will appear as Marley's Ghost, which will be so cool to see! And, as usual, you'll have plenty of chances to take photos between trips to the buffet.
- Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates the Holidays: Of course, Goofy also spends a lot of time at the Disneyland Hotel, at Goofy's Kitchen. He and his friends will be wearing festive holiday outfits, and the experience starts with a PhotoPass opportunity!
- A Christmas Fantasy Parade Dining Package: While it's not a Character Dining opportunity, Plaza Inn, inside Disneyland Park, offers a special dining package during the holiday season. It comes with a delicious lunch and a voucher to view A Christmas Fantasy Parade from a reserved viewing location. This is another way to add some holiday fun to your visit!
I would also like to mention that each of the locations above is very accommodating to Guests with special dietary requests. I've had wonderful experiences.
As Chef Remy said, "If you are what you eat, then I only want to eat the good stuff." Luckily, there’s no shortage of fantastic dining options at the Disneyland Resort! If you think of any other questions, Leslie, you know where to find us!
Your pal,
Kriss
