Hi Lawrence! Welcome to planDisney.
Mine is also a military family, and I’d like to thank you for your service to our country. I’m so glad you discovered the fantastic
Military Promotional Theme Park Ticket offer and are planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. My family is so grateful for the fantastic special offers available to our military members, allowing us to make magical memories together that mean so much when we’re not able to be together.
Before you make your
Disney Park Pass reservations, you’ll need to ensure your military tickets are properly linked to each Guest in
My Disney Experience. I’m going to walk you through the steps using the
My Disney Experience mobile app, but if you’re using a desktop computer, the steps are very similar. In the app, tap the three horizontal lines in the bottom right. Then, tap “Tickets & Passes.” To add your tickets, tap the “+” in the top right and then “Link Tickets & Passes.” You will then have the option to scan the barcode (if you have a ticket card with a barcode) or enter the ticket number from the back of your ticket card or exchange certificate. If you need help locating these numbers, tap “Where is the ID number?” to see sample tickets and find your ticket type. Then, follow the steps to link each ticket to each Guest in your party. I like to write the name of the Guest assigned to each ticket on the ticket in marker; this helps keep the process organized when you activate the tickets at Guest Relations upon arrival at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Once you have the tickets linked, you’ll be able to make your Disney Park Pass reservations.
Follow the steps on the Disney Park Pass web page to make reservations; with a 5-day military salute ticket, you’ll be able to make 5 days of reservations.
If you’ve followed all these steps and are still having issues, you’ll need to
call the My Disney Experience help desk. They can be reached at (407) 939-4357. I’ve sometimes had issues with getting the military tickets linked, and the Cast Members on the phone always help me get everything resolved as easily as “bibbidi bobbidi boo!”
Thanks for stopping by with your question, and I’m wishing upon a star that it’s a quick fix and you get your Disney Park Pass reservations straightened out easily. As you continue to count down the days to your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, please come back and see us if you think of any other questions. It’s always a pleasure to help a fellow military family with their Disney dreaming.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
