I'm having a hard time making ADR at the times/places that my family has chosen. Do any of the restaurants allow you to order food to-go without having a reservation?

    Hi Courtney,

Getting reservations for your favorite restaurants can be tricky. As far as I know, table service restaurants at WDW don't do take out orders.

Don't despair. Believe it or not, people do change their restaurant reservations all of the time. What I recommend is making reservations wherever you can, just to know that you have somewhere to eat. Then periodically, see if any of your first choices have become available. I know I've ended up getting into places by calling while I've been on vacation. It doesn't always work, but sometimes we've ended up finding new favorite places to eat.

If you do end up making new reservations, be sure to cancel your existing one. Even if they don't require a credit card, there could be other guests waiting to get in.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
