Hi there, Stefanie,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with a planning question about your upcoming trip to
Disney World. Your trip will be here before you know it! I'm happy to see that you're considering staying onsite - there are many fantastic perks to staying at a
Disney Resort Hotel. Like you, I find it hard to decide where to stay since there are so many great options! One option my family loves is a split stay. It’s such a fun way to experience the theming and amenities of two different resorts in one vacation - it’s like getting two trips in one!
If you book a split stay,
Bell Services will move your luggage between Disney Resort hotels for you. You can even head to the theme parks on your check-out/check-in day, enjoy a day of fun, and when you arrive at your second resort, your bags will be waiting for you! How magical is that? On move day, take your luggage to Bell Services, and let them know the next Disney hotel where you will be staying. I recommend keeping a small bag with you containing any items you'll need for the day (sunscreen, water bottle, medication, etc.) as it can take a little bit of time to transfer the luggage.
Oh, if you’re planning a visit to
EPCOT during your stay, be sure to enjoy all that the
International Flower & Garden Festival offers. I love admiring the topiaries of beloved Disney characters, catching a performance from the
Garden Rocks Concert Series, and sampling delicious food and drink items from the Outdoor Kitchens! The 2026 edition kicks off on March 4th, 2026 and runs until June 1, 2026.
I hope this information is helpful to your vacation planning, Stefanie. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to
reach out!
Adventure is out there,
Candace
