Hello Darren! Welcome to the wonderful world of Disney Cruise Line!
As per the
Cruise Contract, you can bring a reasonable amount of clothing on board, with a limit of two bags per person. Unlike airlines, there's no need to fret over the size or weight of your luggage. This is one of the many ways Disney Cruise Line makes your journey stress-free.
When it comes to your carry-on, compact is the way to go! Your bag(s) should be small enough to pass through the security scanner. Keep your day bag under 22 inches tall, 14 inches wide, and 9 inches deep. Since you’ll be carrying this bag around until your stateroom is ready, it’s best to keep it light. I have a small bag with wheels perfect for holding our swimsuits and first-day essentials.
My family of three typically brings along three checked suitcases, one carry-on bag, and one purse. During our last European Cruise, each of us had a checked bag and a carry-on bag. There's no set limit on the number of carry-on bags allowed.
You mentioned a diaper bag, which leads me to believe you might be traveling with a stowaway. You're welcome to bring a
cooler no larger than 12″ x 12″ x 12″ to store baby food or nonperishable snacks in their original factory-sealed packaging.
Darren, if you’re anything like my family, you will want to
PACK in as much fun as possible on your vacation. I usually bring our swimsuits in my day bag so that after lunch we can enjoy the pools. Depending on your ship, you’ll have a variety of pools, water play areas, or waterslides to enjoy some splish-splash fun in the sun!
I hope this information helps. If you think of anything else, please return to planDisney and ask.
SEAS the adventure!
