Hi Amelia! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with this great question!
Oh boy! I'm excited to hear that you'll be attending
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party this year! This party features some of the best entertainment, including Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade and the Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular. My family is big fans of the Sanderson Sisters and seeing these characters perform live on stage was one of our highlights!
One of the perks of attending this event is being able to enter the park as early as 4 PM. This gives you ample time to enjoy non-party-related experiences, including riding
TRON Lightcycle / Run. Currently, this attraction is utilizing the Individual Lightning Lane system, which allows you to purchase a return time to ride. You will have the opportunity to do so the morning of your visit, but depending on where you are staying will determine what time you can start booking. If you're staying at a Disney Resorts hotel or other select hotels, you can book this experience starting at 7 AM. Otherwise, you'll need to wait until the official park opening time to do so. While you can select a specific time slot when booking, you'll only be able to choose front what is currently available.
Disney has announced that TRON Lightcycle / Run will be open during the Halloween Party. During the event, this ride will be using the
Virtual Queue System. Starting at 6 PM, open up your
My Disney Experience App and tap on the three horizontal bars in the lower right corner of the screen. Select "Virtual Queues" followed by "Join" to attempt snagging a boarding group. While these slots will fill up quickly, this is another way to ride this attraction while you are there. Even better yet, if you can book an Individual Lightning Lane and a Virtual Queue, you can potentially ride twice on this day.
Amelia, I hope you have a magical time during your visit next month!
