Hi !!! I´m from Guatemala and I want to know is the extra magic hours of the parks apply only for guests of the Disney´s hotels or for the ones like us that we are going to stay in a Hotel but not the Disney´s hotels. We are going the 1st.

    Hi Claudia!

The Extra Magic Hours are, indeed, one of the perks to staying in a Disney World Resort!  If you are in the Parks during the Extra Magic Hours you have to show your Resort I.D. to get on rides or take part in activities.

Here is some more information from the Disney website about the Extended Hours:
Extended Theme Park hours, known as Extra Magic Hours, offer Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels the unique opportunity to enjoy additional time in the Theme Parks-above and beyond the standard operating schedule - at no extra charge.

Each day, one of the 4 Walt Disney World Theme Parks opens one hour early or remains open up to 3 hours after regular Park closing time. Additionally, Disney Water Parks offer Extra Magic Hours during select times of year.

To take advantage of extended Disney Theme Park hours, you must visit the designated Park at the designated time. When checking in at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you will receive a schedule detailing when each Park offers Extra Magic Hours so you can be sure to plan your schedule accordingly.
    How It Works:
Morning Hours-Arrive up to an hour before the designated Theme Park is scheduled to open and show your valid Theme Park ticket and Resort I.D. at the Theme Park turnstiles.
Evening Hours-Valid theme park ticket and Resort I.D. are required. Each member of your party will need to present their Resort I.D. for accessing evening Extra Magic Hours offerings.
