Hi Courtney, welcome back to planDisney!
I want you to know I see you working hard behind the scenes so your party can have a magical
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Planning a Disney trip is a work of heart and I appreciate you. Your planning party appreciates you. Mickey appreciates you. Now let's talk tech.
I understand you have eight tickets linked to your
My Disney Experience account and each person wants to have their own MagicMobile pass on their device. Let's go over a few scenarios.
1. If all eight tickets have your name listed at the top in your
My Disney Experience mobile app (three small lines at the bottom of the home screen --> Tickets and Passes), then you should connect as
Family and Friends with the other members of your planning party and reassign the tickets to them. This will allow them to create their own MagicMobile passes.
2. If the tickets linked in your account have the names of your planning party on them but those individuals appear as "Plans managed by me" in your
Family and Friends list, you need to transfer the tickets to their My Disney Experience accounts by clicking "Update" next to their name and "Share planning with ____." This will send that individual an email invitation that, once accepted, will transfer the plans you've made for them to their account while still allowing you to make plans together in My Disney Experience. They will then be able to create their own MagicMobile pass, as well.
3. If the tickets linked in your account have the names of your planning party on them and their names do
not appear as "Plans managed by me" in your Family and Friends list, they should have all the information they need to make their MagicMobile pass.
Disney recommends that each person with their own My Disney Experience account create a Disney MagicMobile pass on their device. To create a MagicMobile pass in the My Disney Experience app, click the three small lines at the bottom right of the home screen,
Disney MagicMobile, and Set Up Your Pass. If a member of your party does not have a My Disney Experience account and their plans are intentionally managed by you, you can create a MagicMobile pass for them. Their pass can even be shared with the individual for use on their iPhone, Apple Watch, or Google Pay enabled Android phone, just note that the sharing is initiated through the digital wallet, not the My Disney Experience app.
I hope this information is helpful, Courtney. Please don't hesitate to
reach out with any follow-up tech-stions. Or snack-stions. I can always talk about Disney snacks!
Choose magic,
Jennifer
P.S. Don't forget your
theme park reservations!!
