I'm graduating this May, and wanted to have some photos while wearing my cap and gown in front of the castle to celebrate. I know you are able to dress in cap and gown to DS, but can I do that at Magic Kingdom with the dress code?

Hi Anastasia, and congratulations on your graduation!

If that is not a HUGE achievement to celebrate with a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort, I don't know what is!

While the rules prohibit adults from wearing costumes at the Theme Parks, you may be able to wear your cap and a gown in front of Cinderella's Castle to have your pictures taken if they do not violate specific rules like the presence of offensive language or graphics.

In fact, the Disney Fine Art Photography team might be perfect to take those pictures, because they are true masters in fine photography. I had the opportunity to visit their amazing headquarters and they had some of the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen in my life. How awesome it would be to have them take your pictures to celebrate such a special moment?

They offer many different packages that will certainly suit your needs, as some of them can also accommodate clothing changes. Depending on the selected package, the sessions may also incorporate lighting, staging and other techniques to transform this day into the most beautiful of memories! I've heard great stories about photographers that truly transformed the sessions themselves into great celebrations!

I'll be here wishing you great luck on your final school months before your graduate in May, Anastasia. Just like Tiana was at some point in her journey, you're almost there!

The Disney Parks Moms Panel will be here waiting for you to come back with more questions about this celebration. I have a feeling that your happily ever after is just beginning!

May the magic be with you,

    Julie
