I’m graduating from college this year, 2025, and my family and I want to celebrate by planning a trip. We want to know if there are any college grad nights, programs, or special items such as hats or shirts?

    Hi Alaysha,

Welcome to planDisney! Congratulations on your upcoming achievement. I am so excited to hear that you and your family want to celebrate this big moment with a trip to Disneyland! I went to Disneyland to celebrate my college graduation as well, so I am confident that you and your family will have a great time.

While there are no college grad nights, Disneyland typically offers a selection of graduation themed merchandise. In previous years, I have seen Mickey themed graduation hats and ears, and I have seen graduation pins, jewelry, and plushies. Disney has not released the 2025 graduation merchandise yet, but keep an eye on the Disney Store as graduation season draws near. Save on shipping and purchase them when you arrive. Be sure to leave some extra space in your suitcase for all those goodies!

If you want something a little more personal, some of the merchandise shops, like the Emporium or The Mad Hatter, offer embroidery. You could customize many shirts, hats, and sweaters to say Class of 2025. I have seen a lot of people get hand painted personalization on Mickey ears. This personalization happens at select locations, so ask a Cast Member where this could be done. When you get home, you could display your ears and always think back to your achievement and your vacation!

Freebie Tip: When you arrive at the park, be sure to stop by guest services. Currently, they give out free “I’m Celebrating” buttons upon request (they also have buttons that say “First Visit”). Let the Cast Member know that you are graduating and they can write it on your button. Then head on over to the castle and create your own photo shoot. Another great memory to look back on.

I hope this was helpful information, Alaysha. Congratulations again on this achievement. Mickey and I are so proud of you. Good luck finishing up the year. Please feel free to write back to me or my fellow panelist if you have any more questions.

    Wishing you a magical trip!
