    I'm so glad for the Mom's Panel! The more I read the more questions I have. Our first DCL is in July 2012. Understanding that you have to swim out to P.Plunge, how deep is the water? What's the age range for Scuttle's Cove & how do you reserve a spot

    Hi!

    Scuttle's Cove is for those children registered with the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab.  You don't have to make a reservation for them; you can just drop them off as you like.  There are a lot of activities there to keep children happy!

    You have to swim about 15 to 20 yards to reach the platform for Pelican Plunge.  The water is deep for the last few yards (it was over my head and I'm over 6 feet tall).  Young children will be offered a life vest to use to reach the platform and to use when coming down one of the water slides.  The slides are very fast in my opinion; I would describe them as "fast" and "faster", but they are also a lot of fun.
