Hi Phoenix!
Welcome to planDisney! It's always great to talk with a fellow Palmetto State Resident! I'm excited to hear you are planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort in the near future!
When booking a vacation package that includes your
Disney Resorts Hotel reservation and park tickets, you cannot mix the type of tickets you are purchasing. They will either need to be one park per day or have the Park Hopper Option added. You will not be able to split between the two.
However, if you book your ticket package separately from your resort reservation, you can make this work. You'll need to purchase
two separate ticket packages. The first will be a two-day ticket that allows entry to one park per day. The other will be a two-day ticket with the Park Hopper Option added. You will technically have two different ticket ID codes that you'll need to link to your
My Disney Experience account in order to make theme park reservations for your stay. By purchasing your tickets this way, you will be required to pay for the tickets in full at the time of purchase. The tickets will also be nonrefundable and nontransferable. This differs from pairing them with your resort reservation, which will only require a deposit to put down for the entire package.
While one method gives you flexibility with how to choose your park days, the other will provide flexibility with payment. You'll need to decide which route makes the most sense for your stay. Regardless of what you decide, each of the parks is jam-packed with new and exciting attractions to try out.
TRON Lightcycle / Run is set to open at the beginning of April at the Magic Kingdom. This new, exhilarating thrill ride is expected to be a new staple in Tomorrowland. EPCOT introduced its own new thrill ride last year. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has been a welcomed addition to the park and is my favorite ride I have ever been on!
Phoenix, I hope this information helps you plan for your upcoming stay!
