Hiya Allison!
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your Skyliner question! Oh boy—I see your magical adventure begins tomorrow! I can practically hear the Main Street music playing already.
As a fellow mom of two little Mouseketeers, I completely understand wanting to be prepared, especially when it comes to navigating
Disney transportation with a double stroller. So let’s glide right into your question!
The doors of the
Skyliner gondolas are approximately 32 inches wide, and strollers that are 30 inches x 48 inches or smaller can roll right on without needing to be folded. From personal experience, single strollers roll in with no trouble, but with our side-by-side double stroller, we’ve been kindly asked by a Cast Member to fold it before boarding. It really depends on the size and configuration of your stroller.
When I traveled with my littles, I found it helpful to have my older child hold hands with the younger and walk just ahead of me while boarding. And don’t hesitate to ask a friendly Cast Member for help—they’re always happy to lend a hand, especially when they see you're juggling pint-sized royalty!
The Skyliner is truly one of my favorite ways to travel around Disney World. It's like floating above Neverland! Kids usually love the flying gondolas and spotting their favorite characters on the cabins.
If you'd prefer a more hands-free option, you can always
rent a stroller at the parks—that way, you won’t need to fold and carry yours between stops.
Allison, I hope this helps you feel more prepared for your upcoming adventure. Wishing you a trip filled with giggles, pixie dust, and plenty of Mickey-shaped snacks! If you have any more questions, feel free to visit us again.
See ya real soon!
