Hi! I'm getting ready to surprise my kids (ages 3.5 and 1!) with a Disney world trip. I know in the past, you were able to purchase a Personalized Video Message but I am unable to find it now. Are there any alternatives that you know of?

Hello Claudia!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

As a surprise for a recent Walt Disney World Resort vacation, we packed our little ones into the car, drove them to their school and sat in the parking lot. At that moment, Mickey Mouse called on my phone and invited us all down for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. We pulled out of the parking lot and drove directly to the airport. It was an Endlessly Magical Experience.

When I planned the surprise for my children, I went through a third-party vendor online that advertised services for voice actors who specialize in Character Calls. It was not affiliated with Walt Disney World Resort and I recommend that you choose any third-party vendor carefully in personal dealings.

Walt Disney World Resort does not provide Personalized Messages for Guests at this time. There is a Character Call element for one of the Countdown to Fun unboxing activities available from the Disney Store online. I do not believe that it is a video message.

As alternatives to video messages or phone calls, you could script a personalized letter to read to your kids or even create a gift box with small Disney tokens for the surprise unveiling. You could also arrange a personalized gift package through Disney Floral & Gifts for a Walt Disney World Resort-sized surprise for your kids.

    Good luck with your surprise!
