Hi there, Sarah! Welcome back to planDisney!
You've touched upon one of my absolute favorite topics here, dining at the Walt Disney World Resort! As a self-proclaimed Disney foodie, I love trying out new restaurants, snacks and sweet treats any time I visit. This
Halfway to the Holidays Foodie Guide ignited that "rumbly in my tumbly," so I'm ready to make some reservations, too!
Sarah, I love the preparation for your dining reservations! Don't forget to set your alarm for early that morning, as the
advance dining reservation window opens at 6:00 a.m. ET. Both you and your husband can be logged on searching for those hard-to-get restaurant reservations and book at the same time as long as you are logged into separate
My Disney Experience Accounts. If you try to log in with the same account, you might run into problems! My husband and I search for reservations together all the time, so I know from experience that this is a pretty great strategy. If you choose to assign all Guests for each reservation, you will not be able to make overlapping reservation times, so just keep that in mind. It is usually best for each of you to search for different mealtimes to avoid any confusion!
Pro tip: You don't actually have to assign every Guest on the reservation. This tool is useful so that the plans show up for everyone in their
My Disney Experience Mobile App, but I know that every second counts when trying to secure these elusive reservations, so you can just put your name on the reservation and leave the rest unassigned!
Have a magical day, Sarah!
Ashley
