Hiya Sarah! From one New Yorker to another, Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with your excellent question. I'm thrilled to assist you! How exciting that you're planning a trip to
Walt Disney World Resort!
There are many choices when it comes to planning a Walt Disney World vacation so I can understand wanting some additional resources to assist with planning. Though we are unable to book your trip for you, we are THE place to help guests plan their most magical trips! Here at planDisney we are the official digital resource for helpful tips, heartfelt advice, and unique insights from real Guests who have mastered the art of planning Disney vacations. Whether you have a question about a theme park, restaurant, service, shop, hotel or activity, we are here to help you get the most out of your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation!
When I start planning, my first step is to jump on the Walt Disney World
website and use the Build Your Vacation tool at the top of the Walt Disney World Resort homepage. There you are able to enter your vacation dates, total number of adults and children (if any) in your party and you can search all resorts or just one if you have a favorite. You are then able to see the cost per night and can select the package option. The page will then populate the total cost of resort and tickets. Before checking out, you'll be able to select a base ticket or the
Park Hopper Option!
Another bit of advice I love to give is to stay on Disney property if you're able to! There are so many reasons why I prefer to stay at a Disney Resort hotel. A few of my favorites include:
- Complimentary transportation - Not only are the theme parks near some resorts, but they’re easy to get to. With several complimentary transportation options, such as buses, boats, monorails and Disney Skyliner, I can get anywhere I need to.
- Extra time in the theme parks - Disney Resort hotel guests can get extra time in the theme parks with 30 minutes of early theme park entry. Guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts or Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts can maximize their time with extended evening hours at select parks on select nights.
- Early access to dining reservations - Disney Resort hotel guests can make dining reservations for their entire stay (up to a 10-night stay) 60 days before arrival.
Sarah, when it comes to planning another great option is calling
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and speaking directly with a Cast Member and they'll also be able to assist with planning and go over all your vacation details.
I hope you find this information helpful, Sarah. Please
visit us again at planDisney and I will gladly help you with any part of your trip. Have a magical day!
