I'm getting married at WDW on 11/8 and running Wine & Dine 5K on 11/9. We are staying at AKL. How do we get to expo and to AK park for race start? Planned wedding before we decided to do race and didn't realize AKL wasn't a host hotel. Thanks!

    Hi Shannon!

How exciting for you!  What a great way to kick off a new marriage!

No worries!  I have stayed at a non-host resort before, and while it isn't as convenient as a bus, you will easily be able to take a taxi to both events.  Be sure and arrange one ahead of time for the morning of the 5K race, as it will be early and there won't be cabs sitting around waiting like there are during the day.

I usually just stop at the front desk to arrange for cab pick-ups.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
