Hi Poppy,
Welcome to planDisney! First of all, congratulations! I can already picture the magic in the air as you say “I do” just outside the Most Magical Place on Earth. What a beautiful beginning to your happily ever after!
A
private fireworks cruise sounds like the most enchanting way to celebrate your love story. Picture it: gliding across the Seven Seas Lagoon or Bay Lake, champagne in hand, with your favorite people beside you and
Happily Ever After lighting up the night sky above Cinderella Castle. Absolute fairytale vibes!
Now, as for your wedding dress, you’ll be happy to know that there’s no official dress code that prohibits wearing it aboard a specialty cruise like this. Disney does ask Guests to
dress comfortably and appropriately for the weather, and while the dress code tends to be relaxed, I’d recommend making sure your gown is manageable for getting on and off the boat (there’s a small step down into the pontoon). If it’s a long train or a fuller silhouette, you might want to have a trusted helper with you, or even consider a second look, like a shorter bridal dress or reception gown, that still gives you that dreamy bridal feel with a little more boat-friendly flair.
I highly recommend you let the Cast Members know when you book that this is part of your wedding celebration! They love making these special moments even more magical with a little extra sparkle. And don’t forget to ask about decorations or celebration packages, which might include banners, balloons, or even snacks for your crew.
From one dreamer to another, I’m sending all the best wishes across the pond for your wedding and your magical Disney memories. Here’s to love, fireworks, and the start of your greatest adventure yet!
With joy and pixie dust,
Emille
