I'm getting married August 29th 2009, and coming to disneyworld...he wants to come August 30th-Sept-7th, labor day. Is the week before Labor day super busy, or should i postpone the honeymoon to the week after labor day weekend?

    Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

A honeymoon in WDW is very romantic. My hubby and I spent our honeymoon at Mickey's House too. Well, that was many moons ago though. I wish you memorable magic!

It will be crowded over the Labor Day weekend. As of Monday, you should see a decline in crowds. Since you will be arriving on Saturday, I would visit the Animal Kingdom on Sunday, avoiding the Magic Kingdom due to the evening Extra Magic Hours. Touring Epcot on Monday would work well. It's also a wonderful park for some romance. Think World Showcase's Illuminations, the wonderful meals and sharing pastries in France.

One other suggestion would be to travel on Sunday which gives you an extra day to get ready for your honeymoon. I know we waited a day or 2 before leaving on our honeymoon and I was glad to have that extra time to sleep and pack!

Wishing you a lifetime of dreams come true!
