Welcome to planDisney, Cathie!
There's no better place to add a bit of pixie dust to the upcoming year than Walt Disney World Resort. How magical that it's where you'll be kicking off 2025!
I'm so glad you're planning to enjoy one of Walt Disney World's miniature golf courses during your visit. My husband and I played 36 holes at
Winter Summerland Miniature Golf and 18 at Fantasia Gardens during a recent vacation, and when my mom called to check in with us, we told her that we were headed to play mini golf. She asked how far outside of Walt Disney World we were driving to play and was so surprised to discover Walt Disney World is home to four miniature golf courses. So many people overlook the gems such as these that make The Most Magical Place on Earth so much more than four theme parks.
Since I was just at
Fantasia Gardens & Fairways Miniature Golf, I'm happy to confirm that although they operate at the same location, they are two entirely separate 18-hole courses. Although these courses are neighbors and both feature 18-holes, they provide very different experiences for Guests. While Fantasia Gardens has whimsical theming and obstacles, Fantasia Fairways is truly a miniature version of a traditional golf course. Because they are separate courses, rounds for each course are priced and sold separately, but there is typically a discount if you choose to play a second round after you finish your first. While walk-ups are welcome, it is possible to schedule a tee time if you do so at least one day in advance. In my opinion, there's nothing quite like a Fantasia Gardens tee time just before sunset so that I can watch the sky slowly cascade into darkness around The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
I hope this information is helpful, Cathie, and that your upcoming vacation is filled with magical memories. If you're looking

Thinking Happy Thoughts,
