If I'm getting the $750 gift card as part of package----when do I received it & what can I use it for? Any need getting a dining plan if getting this gift card? THX----totally Disney geek right now!

    Hi Song!

Isn't this a great time to visit Walt Disney World?  There are some fantastic specials right now.  You will receive your $750.00 gift card when you check-in.  It can be used anywhere a Disney gift card can be used which is almost anywhere on property; some non-Disney owned restaurants and stores will not accept it.  It can even be used on-line at Disneyshopping.com and in any Disney Stores you may have in your local area.

Unfortunately, I can't answer your question about whether you should get a Disney Dining Plan or just use the gift card for meals.  The issue is whether you would save money by being on a plan.  I don't know how you like to dine and what items you might select off of a particular menu.  However, I can give you some advice.

Some guests save a lot of money by using a Dining Plan.  Other guests don't save as much and some actually spend more by being on a Dining Plan.  You can get more information on the various plans here.

I suggest looking at the menus for the various Quick Service and Table Service restaurants at the independent website AllEars.Net.  They do a very good job of keeping their menus up to date.  You can then compare the cost of being on the Dining Plan to not being on it and just using your gift card.

    Have a magical vacation!
