    I'm getting excited for the Princess 1/2! I am also going to a conference that weekend and am staying at the DD Hilton. I know there is not transportation from my hotel, but will I be able to get to either the expo or the race from Downtown Disney?

    Hi Kirsten!

    The Princess Half Marathon is a great weekend!  You are going to love it:)

    Theoretically, you could get from Downtown Disney to the Expo by Disney bus.  You would need to take a bus from Downtown Disney to one of the Disney World Resorts and then use the runDisney buses from that resort to the expo.  However, this would be a very lengthy process.  I recommend just getting a cab directly to the Wide World of Sports complex for the expo and packet pick-up.

    This would not work on race morning, though, because the Disney buses won't be running that early.  So, on race morning you will need to have a cab.  You can arrange this in advance with your hotel's front desk. I highly recommend leaving by 3 a.m.  Around 3:30 is when traffic picks up and you don't want to be stuck in it.
