Hi! I´m going with my friends to Disney and want to manage their fast passes through my phone (already manage them from Disney.go). but this message shows: the ticket has already been linked to an account. What can I do?

    Hello Agustina!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I see you are writing to us from South America, so calling the Tech Support Desk isn’t an easy option for you. I can’t promise I have the answer, but I have a few ideas that may help.

First, you mention that you are already managing them on “Disney.go.” I assume that means a desktop computer? If everything is working perfectly on your desktop, then the issue is the My Disney Experience Mobile App.

    * Start by completely closing and “killing” the app, so that it requires you to login again.
    * Make sure you have the most up-to-date version of My Disney Experience loaded onto your phone. There was an update on August 19, 2019, so simply updating the app may help.
    * Completely turning off the phone and turning it back on to reboot everything may clear any errors.

If you are still having difficulty or if things are not working on the desktop either, there could be a few issues. In my experience, it is best for each adult to create their own My Disney Experience Account. If there are any children, one parent should add the children to their account. If there is an adult that doesn't wish to have access to My Disney Experience, maybe grandma or grandpa just wants to go along for the ride and not deal with the technology, then have one adult add them to their account as well, just like the children.

    * Once everyone has their own accounts, use the Family & Friends option to link to one another.
    * Make sure you are linking to that person by sending an email request, rather than simply adding them as another person to be managed by your account. A person existing as two separate people on two accounts at once will cause a problem.
    * Make sure you are using the same name for someone, not a full name on one account and a nickname on the other. Sometimes this can cause a problem as well.

If this issue continues, and you are still unable to link the correct ticket to the correct person, you may indeed need to speak with tech support. You can try to call, or you can email your issue. I had to have tech support fix several tickets that received that same error message.

Sending pixie dust that one of these ideas helps you to get it straightened out quickly and easily!
