Hi, I'm a foreigner living in the UK and am trying to buy 14-day Walt Disney World tickets. I would like to know if I need UK ID to be able to pick up tickets purchased from the UK Disney site, or will any photo ID work?

Hi Caitlin and welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for stopping by with your great question about the UK and Ireland Exclusive Disney Magic Tickets

Disney Magic Tickets are offered exclusively in the UK and Ireland and really do offer such amazing value for money!

When visiting Walt Disney World, my family always book a Hotel + Ticket package which includes a stay at a Disney Resort Hotel and Disney Magic Tickets. When we check-in at our Disney Resort Hotel, we are asked to provide ID and use our passports for this.

Whilst I have never personally purchased Tickets solely, I can tell you that once you have purchased Disney Magic Tickets and linked your ticket confirmation to your My Disney Experience account there are two ways to collect your tickets:-

1/ Use Disney MagicMobile service to access your ticket from your smartphone's digital wallet.
2/ Visit a Theme Park ticket window upon arrival at Walt Disney World. If using this method, the person whose name is listed on the ticket confirmation can pick up their ticket order by presenting the ticket confirmation, along with a valid and properly matched government issued photo ID (e.g., driver's licence, passport), at Walt Disney World Theme Park ticket windows or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs.

I think in your situation, Caitlin, I would recommend that you contact the Walt Disney Travel Company, here in the UK, to confirm if there will be any issues with you purchasing the Disney Magic Tickets for use on your trip to Walt Disney World.

You can call their Disney Experts freephone, seven days a week, on 0800 169 0730 and their opening times are:-
Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Saturday 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Sunday 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

I'm sorry that I couldn't provide you with a concrete answer today but, if we can be of any further help with the planning of your trip, please feel free to stop by with another question.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
