    I’m following the directions on how to buy genie plus but it won’t let me. When I click on edit my tickets it doesn’t let me.

    Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

    You can no longer purchase Disney Genie+ ahead of time by modifying an existing ticket purchase. If I had to guess, you are seeing instructions that dated back to the time at the start of the Genie+ program where you could, in fact, purchase the service ahead of time.

    Purchasing the Genie+ program is now something you do on the day that you want the service. You can buy for just select days of your trip or for each park day of your visit, it is totally up to you. In the past I have told friends to purchase it around 7 am that morning, right before they would make their first attraction selection. However, you can actually purchase the service starting just after midnight on that date. You will still have to wait until 7 am to make that first ride selection.

    BONUS TIP
    Make sure you have your My Disney Experience App downloaded on your phone and set up well ahead of time. That is where you are going to purchase Disney Genie+, as well as select your attractions. The purchase option will show up on the home page of the App and should be easy to find and fulfill.
