Hi MaryLou, welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited to chat with you and help you plan your upcoming trip. Your adventurous spirit inspires me, and I hope to have that same energy when I reach 70. I'm sure you and your family will have a fantastic time full of great memories at the
Walt Disney World Resort.
And your trip is just around the corner! Those last few weeks will fly by, and soon you'll be enjoying the best days ever with your loved ones. I'm delighted to inform you that you can bring and use your walker at all theme parks, water parks, and Disney Resorts Collection hotels. Walt Disney's vision of a place where the whole family can have fun and enjoy their time together is truly reflected in the accessibility and convenience of the Disney Parks. I'm confident that you'll have a fantastic time.
I also want to share a valuable resource with you. The
Services for Guests with Mobility Needs page is a treasure trove of information about services and access options for Guests with mobility disabilities at the Walt Disney World Resort. It's designed to help you make the most of your visit, and I'm sure you'll find it incredibly useful in planning your trip.
I also recommend that you consider
renting an Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) to help you navigate the theme parks. They are huge, and the hot summer days in Florida can make everything seem bigger. On our last visit, I rented one of those for my mom, and it was a lifesaver. She quickly got the hang of it and could stroll across all the theme parks with ease, saving her energy for the really important moments, like getting into attractions and sharing ice cream with her grandkids.
MaryLou, I hope this information is helpful to you. I can't wait to learn everything about your experience at the parks later this month. Please come back
and send us more questions anytime. We are always ready and happy to help a friend like you.
Cheers
Nilson
