I'm flying to Orlando on an airline that is not one of the airlines listed in the packet. Will I have to pick up my baggage before getting on the Magic Express?

    Hi Kristin,

I believe Disney's Magical Express® is one of the best Resort Benefits!

You'll be happy to find out that Disney's Magical Express® will pick up your luggage from the Orlando International Airport baggage claim area regardless of which carrier you are flying. If you wish to have your luggage delivered to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel room, please attach Disney’s Magical Express® luggage tags to each item you plan on checking with the airline.

Once you land at Orlando International Airport, please go to the Disney Welcome Center, which is located in the Main Building, Level 1, B side. There you will be directed to your exact bus assignment. If you attached Disney's Magical Express® tags to your bags, rest assured that your luggage will be delivered directly to your room; though it may take up to 3 hours after you arrive at your Disney Resort hotel for your luggage to be delivered.

On departure day, since you are not flying on a "participating airline," you will have to bring your luggage to the Disney's Magical Express® podium. Your Disney resort bell services will be able to assist you with any help you may need.

Disney Mom Tip: Do not to pack your MagicBands in your checked luggage, as they will be used to check in with Disney’s Magical Express® and to unlock your room when you arrive at your Disney Resort hotel.

Wishing you an unforgettable vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!
