I'm a Florida Resident with a weekday annual pass expiring in November and want to upgrade it to a Gold one. I am paying it monthly. Will I have to pay the entire difference on cost?

    Hey, Gloria!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel to bring us your question. It's a pleasure to chat with a fellow member of the Annual Passholder family and sunshine state neighbor.

Gloria, just last year I decided to upgrade my Annual Pass to take advantage of some additional calendar days at the parks and the PhotoPass download privileges. I love being able to capture my kids growing up at the most magical place on earth!

To upgrade your pass, simply visit any of the Guest Relations locations at all four theme parks and Disney Springs where a friendly Cast Member will be able to get your pass switched. You will have to pay the difference between your pass and the one you are wanting to upgrade to in full. If you are on a monthly payment plan, that will remain the same.

I hope you enjoy the extra pixie dust on your updated AP! Be sure to visit the Benefits and Discounts page so you can take advantage of all the exclusive special offers Annual Passholders have access to. I have it bookmarked on my cell so I can check it anytime I'm enjoying the magic and see where I can save.

Have a magical day and we hope to see you back again soon!
