i'm a Florida resident and have purchased a 1 day 1 park ticket and would like to convert it to a Florida Resident ticket if possible. Can I do that?

    Hiya Sandy!

Thank you for reaching out and welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! Wow, Sandy, how lucky you are to be living in Florida! As a Canadian citizen and resident, I have always dreamed of moving to Florida and trading in the snow and freezing temperatures for the warm and humid Floridian weather. And on top of the sunny weather, Florida residents get to benefit from amazing special offers! What could possibly be more magical?

The good news is that yes, there is a way to change your ticket to a Florida resident ticket rather than a normal theme park ticket. Unfortunately, it is not like how you would normally upgrade your tickets in the My Disney Experience website or app. Indeed, if you simply wanted to change the number of days of your ticket, or had the Park Hopper Option, you would have been able to click on "Change Ticket" in the "My Plans" section on the website, or in "My Profile" on the mobile app. However, cases like these require the magic only a Cast Member can provide. You can contact a Cast Member by phone or see a Cast Member at one of the ticketing centers either at the main entrance of the theme parks or at Disney Springs. Then, they will be able to make that change for you.

Now, Sandy, I see that your magical visit is coming so soon - how exciting! As a Florida resident, I am sure you must be a Disney pro, but I would just like to suggest that you plan some time to visit the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival! Indeed, the beautiful flowers and tasty treats have returned to EPCOT on March 2nd and will be covering the park in colour until July 4th, 2022! If you are looking for fun new things to try, make sure to stop by Outdoor Kitchen - La Isla Fresca between the Morocco and France pavilions! Also, be sure to stop by the brand new Basin booth and treat yourself to some self-care products.

I hope this was helpful, Sandy, and that you will have the best day ever on your upcoming Disney vacation! If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your magical visit, don't hesitate to reach out. We are always b(l)ooming with tips!

    Have a magical dai-sy,
