I'm a Florida resident and I would like to take my parents and family to Disney. The problem is they're not a Florida resident. Can I purchase all the tickets so I can get the discounted price for them and put the ticket under my name?

Hi Alfred! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You must be SO excited to visit with your family soon! I love how the Walt Disney World Resort takes care of Florida Residents by offering amazing deals on theme park tickets and Annual Passes. If I lived that close to the "magic," I would want to be there all the time!

When it comes to purchasing Florida Resident tickets, all Guests ages 18 and older must show proof of Florida residency. Since your out-of-state family doesn't have proof of Florida residency, they will not be able to get Florida Resident tickets. The exception to this is those under 18-years-old do not have to show proof of Florida residency, which means if there are any kiddos in your family that you are purchasing tickets for, you can purchase Florida Resident tickets for them.

Keep your eyes on the Special Offers on the Walt Disney World website to see if any friend and family ticket offers become available to Florida Residents before your visit. There have been some discounts in the past, so it is a good idea to check regularly!

Enjoy your time with your family, Alfred! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
