    I’m a Florida resident & I have never made reservations in which I used my Florida resident discount because my family lives out of state. Is the Florida resident discount available to me when I bring my grandchildren?

    Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for your question. As a fellow Florida resident, I’m delighted to assist you with understanding the Florida resident discounts!

    The Florida resident discount is an excellent perk, but it is limited to Florida residents only.  When purchasing tickets or making reservations using this discount, anyone over the age of 18 in your party must show valid proof of Florida residency to take advantage of the discounted rate. Valid proof of Florida residency, includes a driver’s license, state-issued ID, or utility bill with a matching photo ID. This is required for tickets, hotel stays, or other offers that utilize the Florida resident rate.

    When making hotel reservations, the Florida resident discount applies to the entire room rate, so everyone in your party can benefit from this offer. Be sure to check the Walt Disney World Resort website or contact Guest Services for the latest Florida resident deals.
