If I’m a Florida resident and my little sister is not when she comes to visit me could I get the Florida resident discover pass for her and just use my proof of residency?

Hi Raleigh, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

It's so much fun to be a Florida resident and show our friends and family how we "do Disney," isn't it? I love having a chance to act as a local tour guide to share my favorite place with my favorite people.

You don't mention your little sister's age, but if she's a child, you can certainly purchase a Discover Disney ticket for her using your proof of Florida residency. However, any adult wishing to use a Discover Disney ticket must have their own proof of residency in order to use the ticket, so you'd be unable to purchase it for her if she's an adult herself.

But never fear, Raleigh, because there are always ways to share a little Disney magic! While you can't take advantage of the Discover Disney ticket offer if your sister is an adult, you might consider buying her a Disney Gift Card instead. She can use it toward the purchase of Park tickets or to pick up some souvenirs while she's visiting you. It's a fun way to for you and your sister to make some new Disney memories.

I hope this helps you plan a magical visit with your sister, Raleigh. Please stop by and see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
