Hi, Deborah! Welcome to planDisney! I'm always happy to chat with a fellow Floridian!
Planning our Walt Disney World visits around the school calendar is a fact of life in my family, too. I'm the mom of a 6th-grader, so our Disney days are limited to weekends and school holidays. For us, Florida Resident Annual Passes were the best solution to make sure we get to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth whenever we can.
When it comes to
purchasing multi-day tickets, they do carry expiration dates, whether for Floridians or Guests from out-of-state. Depending on the number of ticket days you purchase,
the expiration will be up to 14 days after your selected start date. For example, a Florida Resident 4-Day Ticket expires in seven days, so if you chose a start date of November 1, you could use it any four days through November 7.
If you'd like to think about an
Annual Pass, we have several choices as Florida residents. The Disney Pixie Dust Pass is the most affordable, although it has more blockout dates. I'm personally looking at the Disney Pirate Pass as a kind of middle-of-the-road possibility when it comes time for my family to renew.
I hope this helps you find a ticket option that works for your family, Deborah. With
Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration bringing us a full 18 months of magic, it's a wonderful time to live here in the Sunshine State! Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you'll come see us again real soon.
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
