Hiya Pal,
Welcome to planDisney! Grandparents make vacations more magical for Mouseketeers of all ages, in my opinion. I like to tell my mom that she and my dad are my must-pack for vacations. It is so amazing that you want to gift your granddaughter a little magic through a vacation to
Magic Kingdom Park!
So here’s the thing, my magical friend: according to the official Walt Disney World Resort policy, all Guests over the age of 18 must be able to provide
valid proof of Florida residency to purchase, activate, and/or use an Annual Pass at the Florida resident rate. This is to ensure that these tickets stay reserved for Florida residents. The policy also states that Florida resident Guests under 18 are not required to provide proof of residency if the adult purchasing the admission is a Florida resident who can provide valid proof of residency.
Before I let you go, as you continue to plan your incredible vacation for your granddaughter at Magic Kingdom, don’t forget to pick up
Memory Maker for your visit. Your granddaughter will appreciate being able to look back at the photos from your adventures together, and Memory Maker enables you to download them all for one price. I have two Mouseketeers under three, and I always get Memory Maker! My two-year-old loves to look at the photos and share with people who weren’t on the trip what she did during our most recent trip, and I get to see how big she has grown since our first visit. Please come back and see us if you need anything else!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
