    I’m a Florida resident, my grandchildren are not ( age 4 & 12)- can I purchase Florida resident tickets and not accompany them to parks? Their parents would

    Thanks for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  As a Floridian, I am happy to assist you with this question! It is so nice of you to gift tickets to the grand kids. As a Florida Resident, you can purchase Florida Resident Discount tickets for your grandchildren, since minors do not have to provide proof of Florida residency. Keep in mind that there are a few things to consider if you are not going to be present. First, remember that when a Florida Resident purchases discounted tickets, in order to activate them, they need to provide proof of residency either online or upon arrival in order to activate all tickets including the child tickets. Also, upon entering the parks, the minor child must tap in at the touch points. If there are any issues with the ticket, the Florida Resident must be present to resolve the issue with Guest Services.
