Hello Kristina!
Welcome to planDisney! Sometimes I wish I was a Florida resident. I mapped the drive to Walt Disney World Resort this morning from New York and almost fainted when I saw it was 17 hours if I did not make any stops. America is such a large country, Kristina, and my small bladder ruins everything. If attempted, this will be a torturous drive. But, let's focus on you and get you some answers!
One of the things I imagine being a perk as a Florida resident is not only the proximity to Walt Disney World Resort but also access to the many discounted ticket offers! The current
Special Florida Resident Discover Disney Ticket which has a 4-Day Ticket option allows guests to visit the Parks between April 2 to September 28, 2024. These days do not have to be consecutive and can be spread out over the date range I mentioned. You must however have
theme park reservations set up for each day you wish to visit. Don't delay as these can run out. I do not doubt that the grand opening day of
Tiana's Bayou Adventure on June 28, 2024, will result in a shortage of Magic Kingdom Park theme park reservation availability. Everyone wants to visit the bayou and celebrate Mardi Gras!
I hope this helps and that you enjoy your upcoming summer of fun!
Happy Planning!
