Hello, Gabriela. Welcome to
planDisney.
Gabriela, I think wanting to give the gift of magic in the form of Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets is such a kind thing to do.
Walt Disney World truly is the most magical place on earth and your family is sure to make memories that will last a lifetime.
Florida Resident theme park tickets are solely for those Guests who reside in Florida, Gabriela. In order for someone to use a Florida Resident Walt Disney World Theme Park ticket, each Guest over the age of 18 must show proof of residency before using them to enter a Walt Disney World Theme Park.
To show
proof of residency each Guest can submit one of the following:
Valid Florida driver’s license (must have a Florida address)
Valid Florida state-issued ID card (must have a Florida address)
Valid Florida-based military ID
There are a few other ways to prove residency but those are the easiest and most common options. So, since your adult family members won't have that information they would not be able to use the tickets that you would purchase for them.
Your adult family members will need to visit the Walt Disney World website and purchase either a standard theme park ticket - which allows entry into one park per day or park hopper tickets - that allows entry into multiple theme parks per day. After everyone has tickets purchased and linked to the MyDisneyExperience accounts, there's one more step. Everyone ages 3 and older will need to have a
park pass reservation. Park pass reservations are basically like a virtual placeholder in line at the initial theme park you'd like to visit each day. All you need to do is visit the park pass reservation website and follow the prompts to make your selections.
I hope this helps clear up any confusion, Gabriela. If you have any other questions about this or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help.
Have fun!
Jackie H.
