Hello, Karmen!
Welcome to planDisney. I am glad you sent your question to us! My family enjoys sailing on the Disney Cruise line, so I understand your excitement. We love that we get to experience Disney and the beach during the same vacation!
I have good news!
Pirate Night is scheduled for your cruise at this time (subject to change). Yay! Pirate Night is always a highlight of my family's Disney Cruises. It is so much fun wearing pirate gear! Sometimes we wear full costumes, and other times, the adults wear pirate-theme shirts and accessories while the kids wear adorable costumes. Did you know that
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique offers pirate makeovers on Pirate Night? Reservations can be made on the Disney Cruise Line website during your
booking window. If you cannot find a reservation ahead of time, you can stop by
Guest Services on embarkation day to see if they have any openings.
The attire schedule currently planned for the Disney Magic's voyage on January 15, 2025 is listed below. Keep in mind that schedules are subject to change. I suggest checking the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app while onboard the ship for an up-to-date schedule.
- Wednesday - Galveston - casual
- Thursday - at sea - optional dress-up
- Friday - Progreso - Pirate Night
- Saturday - at sea - casual
- Sunday - Galveston
If you have kids, they will love the youth clubs onboard the Disney Magic! My children spend hours in
Disney's Oceaneer Club and
Disney's Oceaneer Lab. My spouse and I like to enjoy brunch in
Palo one morning while my kids play in a youth club. Palo is an adult-exclusive restaurant that serves incredible food with beautiful views! Reservations can be made ahead of time or sometimes through Guest Services on the ship.
Karmen, have the most magical cruise! Please reach out to planDisney again if you have additional questions!
Happy sailing!
Jen
