I'm finding all sorts of great tips and tricks here--thanks! I've never heard of Photo Pass before. Could you walk me through the whole process? I find lots of bits of info, but could I get an overview including approximate pricing?

    Hi Matt,

Throughout the theme parks and water parks at Walt Disney World, you will find Disney Photo Pass photographers.  They are skilled at capturing family photos at key locations.  The real benefit to using these photographers, in my mind, is that everyone in your travel party gets to be in the picture.  After a photographer takes your photo, they hand you a free plastic card encoded with your photo numbers.  These can be uploaded to your own private account at www.disneyphotopass.com during and after your trip.  Then you have the option of purchasing photos and photo products from this site.

If you plan to use the services of the Disney Photo Pass photographers frequently during your stay, you can amass a large number of wonderful photos from your trip.  In that case, it may be cost effective to purchase the rights to all of your photos for one flat fee.  You can get current pricing on the Disney Photo Pass CD by calling (407) 560-4300.

Remember that Disney Photo Pass photographers will also be happy to take photos of your group with your camera.  That costs absolutely nothing so consider that option as well.

If you'd like to know more, please don't hesitate to post a follow-up question.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
